Q: Why can't I see my posted events online immediately?
A: Once you post your events on the site, if it is a Public event, it will automatically enter our content moderation process. Buzzintown's content editors will check all such public event postings for any inappropriate content, and will publish them immediately if nothing objectionable is found.
Q: How can I add a new venue or location online?
A: Tell us about the special things happening at the venue, and we will be happy to list it. Send your email to featured@buzzintown.com. Alternatively, you can create venues at the time of event creation from "Create Event" screen.
Q: How can I change my password or enter new email?
A: To change your password or email you need to logon to http://www.buzzintown.com and click on My buzz -> view / edit Profile > Edit Account section. Here you can change either your password or enter your new email details. Once you change the details you will be automatically logged out and you will be asked to re-login with your new passwd/email details.
Q: I forgot my password how can I get a new password?
A: You can reset your password and generate a new password on your own. Go to Home page, in the login section, beside the 'Sign In' button, you will find a link "Forgot Password". Enter the emailed, with which you registered on Buzzintown, and just press the "Forgot password" button. This will reset your password and send you a new (auto-generated) password to the same emailID. To change the password into something you can remember, please follow the "How can I change my password or enter new email?" FAQ.
Q: Can I get event details on my mobile while I am on move?
A: Buzzintown has comprehensive coverage for users on move. You can visit http://m.buzzintown.com on your (GPRS-enabled) mobiles to browse all the happening events in any city.
We have also partnered with Zook to provide event search for mobile users. You can go to (on your GPRS-enabled phones) http://zook.in to "search" for latest happenings in any city.
Alternatively, you can register on Buzzintown for FREE SMS alerts, a service provided by MyToday, India's largest Media on Mobiles.

A: Buzzintown registered generic event alerts sent on your mobile are free of charge.

A: 1. Go to http://www.buzzintown.com (on your computer)
2. On the homepage, look for MYTODAY BANNER TAB on right section of the page, it has a caption "Now get Free SMS Alerts of the Hottest Events CLICK TO START"
3. Click on this MYTODAY banner, it open a new popup window. Here you enter your Name, Mobile number, City or Cities (in case you want alerts for all cities listed in the page), and your categories of interest.
4. Once you entered the details click on submit button.
5. Within a few minutes (max 15-20 mins in case of high traffic load) you will receive an SMS "Activation code ".
6. In order to activate your mobile number Click on "MYTODAY TAB"
7. Will get a new popup window open and click on " Subscribed users click here to activate your mobile "
8. Enter your mobile number and the Activation code.
9. Click on Activate Now.
